Susanne Fredricks
Founder and Director of Suzie Wong Presents, ‘the Caribbean, Seen’, Susanne Fredricks, has worked in the visual arts in Jamaica throughout her life. With an educational background in Anthropology and Film at Goldsmiths College, and an MSc in Environment and Development at the University of London Susanne has also worked in the fields of social justice and land/resource/cultural indigenous rights in both Advocacy and Education. On her return to Kingston 18 years ago, she formulated and ran the Exhibitions programme at 128 Gallerie and Hi Qo art gallery, before transitioning full time to her online art platform. Currently a gallerist and Art consultant, Susanne also advises on corporate and private collections, and serves on the Board of the National Gallery of Jamaica as Exhibitions Chair.
