Doreen Chambers

Doreen is an award winning  residential interior designer with a full-service interior design firm nestled in the heart of Brownstone Brooklyn, New York.  Named a Next Wave interior designer by House Beautiful Magazine, Doreen designs sophisticated environments with a serene ambiance for her clients where they can unwind, relax and recharge.  She draws on inspiration found in nature, fine art, theatre, fashion and travel for her interiors.

Whether projects are large or small; the aesthetic contemporary or traditional, combining a global aesthetic with contemporary art, Doreen creates beautiful homes that are functional, relaxed and welcoming.

Doreen splits her time between Brooklyn, New York and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  She and her husband are collectors of Contemporary African Diaspora Art and for 3-years Doreen was co-chair of the Perez Art Museum Miami Art & Soul fundraiser for the African Art Fund.  Doreen is a board member of The Decorators Club in New York. Founded in 1914, it's the nation's oldest women's professional organization dedicated to interior design.
